The Forest Walk

After opening the Woodland & Meadow secure area, we thought long and hard about securing a section of our ancient forest for dogs to explore. A large area of the old wood its too wet for most of the year so we fenced around the safest, driest area. The secure area is located within the beautiful Forest and during spring and summer, a vast amount of Bluebells, Common Orchids and Wild Garlic will be viewable from a safe distance.

We have laid a 400m long path around this new secure area making it suitable for pushchairs. There are also benches and picnic tables spread throughout. Drinking water for dogs is available near the gate. Dog poop and general waste bins are provided.

Enjoy a stress-free walk around through this amazing Forest, knowing your dogs are safe and secure within the 6ft high wire fencing perimeter. Park up to 3 cars within the secure area and let your dogs explore all 3 acres of wilderness.

THERE IS NO POND IN THE FOREST (but there is a muddy puddle).

DO NOT arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. You may enter the field on time but you MUST leave the field BEFORE your time has ended. Bookings are back to back, so this allows time between sessions so dogs will not meet.

Make sure to pick up after your dog, we ask that if you see any faeces in the field please pick it up. IF there is a lot, please call so I will contact the person before you.
