All users must agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to use.
By using the facilities at Hopewell Dog Park, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions, permit the Client to use Hopewell Dog Park for exercising dogs under close personal supervision at all times.
DO NOT ARRIVE to your booked secure area more than 5 minutes early. IF you do get to Hopewell early, please wait IN YOUR CAR near the main farmhouse.
You must wait in your vehicle until it is your turn to use the facilities. Make sure no-one is in the field or barn before you enter and release your dog – should someone still be in the field when your booking starts, please inform me immediately 07872 527518. Please DO NOT approach the other person to avoid causing stress with nervous/reactive dogs.
All dogs must be kept on their leads between the car park and the secure fields. All of our outdoor secure areas now have available parking INSIDE the secure boundary, so you can drive in, lock the gate behind you and release your dogs from the car during your booked time.
The enclosures are secured with 6-foot high fence, if your dog can jump over 6 feet then we may not be secure for you.
This booking is between the client and Hopewell Dog Park and may not be transferred or sub-let to any other person, without consent from Hopewell Dog Park.
Parking is permitted in the designated car parking area, and there is room for ONE car to park in the Adventure Field and Obedience Field and THREE cars in the Woodland & Meadow and the Forest Walk. Please be aware that the road coming from Knaresborough ,(Park Lane onto Hay-A-Park lane): leading to Hopewell Dog Park is also a bridleway, so please DRIVE SLOWLY and be courteous to walkers, bikers and horse riders.
This is an outdoor venue, please ensure you take simple precautions to protect your health whilst using the site e.g, wearing suitable footwear and wearing suitable clothing, using fly/mosquito repellent and sun tan lotion etc.
You are responsible for picking up your dog’s waste, but we also ask if you see any poo at all, please pick it up. As the fields are large, there is a possibility you may miss your own dog’s poo, but if you pick up any you see, others will pick up yours.
Dogs using the facility must be regularly treated for flea, tick and worm prevention.
On exiting the field, please ensure you close the gate properly and always lock the gate behind you, even if someone is waiting to use the field. This will ensure only authorized access is granted.
Bookings start on the hour or half hour. Make sure you are out of the field before your time is up, to allow sufficient time and space to safely exit and to minimize contact with other users and dogs. This is important as these facilities are intended as a safe space for nervous and reactive dogs. If you arrive late for your booking, you must still leave on time.
No smoking, grooming or littering on site. Please use the bins provided for all rubbish and take all your belongings with you when you leave.
